2014 Leddy Library Adopt a Family Campaign

As we have seen in previous years, our Leddy Library staff has been most generous in their support of the Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Society’s Adopt-a-Family Holiday Program. We are sure that this year will prove to be no exception.

In 2014, we will be supporting the following families:

  • A mom and dad with their 5 year old son
  • A 19 year old young man on his own

Items that we would be using your donations towards include clothing, toys, household items for the family and single youth, as well as food gift cards.

Any cash donations—large or small— will help make the holidays happier for these folks in need. All cash donations over $10 will receive a tax receipt from the Children’s Aid Society. Sorry, we are unable to accept personal cheques.  If you would prefer to purchase an item from the families’ wish list yourself, please come to the Administration Office to see the list.

Please contact Yvonne or Lucy by Thursday, November 27th with your donation. Thank you!

Food Bank Contributions – Please consider donating non-perishable, non-expired food items to the Iona College student food bank on campus. Boxes will be sent up in the Staff Lounge for your contributions until mid-December.
