The Naxos Music Library has an on-demand collection of 47,618 discs / 684,282 tracks of mostly classical music — although there are collections of jazz, world, folk, blues, and pop music contained within as well.
The Smithsonian Global Sound for Libraries, produced in partnership with Smithsonian Folkways Recordings, is a collection of over 2000 albums that cover the folk and world genres primarily. The site has a collection of playlists that can give you a good idea of what sounds you can discover.
